Fitness Pace Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 25, 2026 · Applies to the Fitness Pace app for Android and this website

This policy explains what the Fitness Pace app collects, how we use it, who helps us process it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. Fitness Pace is operated by Levi Co. (“we”, “us”).

The short version

  • We collect the account, fitness, nutrition, and progress information you add, plus the technical information needed to run the app.
  • We don’t sell your personal information, and we never use your health or fitness data for advertising.
  • PACE, the in-app coach, sends your messages and the fitness details you allow to an AI model provider so it can reply.
  • Everything travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
  • You can delete your account in the app at any time, or ask us by email. How to delete your account.

1. Information you give us

Account

Your email address and display name. If you create a password, we store only a salted, one-way scrypt hash of it. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and a Google account identifier; we never see your Google password.

Age

Your year of birth, used to confirm you are at least 13 and to control features limited to adults. It can’t be changed from inside the app once set.

Profile and goals

Details you choose to add, such as sex, height, weight, target weight, activity level, fitness goal, training experience, available equipment, dietary preferences, and foods to avoid.

Training, nutrition, and progress

PACE conversations

Messages you send to PACE, its replies, and your saved conversation history. If you attach a photo or file, you choose Analyze once or Keep in this chat (see Retention).

Voice input

If you use dictation, your device’s speech recognition service (for example, Google’s speech services on Android) turns your speech into editable text. That service may process your audio under its own privacy terms. Fitness Pace receives only the text you choose to send; we don’t receive or store audio.

Community

Posts, photos, comments, and reactions you share, and the audience you pick for them. Content you share publicly can be seen by other Fitness Pace members.

Buddies (training partners)

The training details you add to your buddy profile (such as goal, experience, schedule, and an optional city), buddy requests and connections, messages you exchange with buddies, and blocks and reports.

Buddies is for adults only. To join, you submit a photo of a government or school ID showing your photo and date of birth. The image is encrypted, is seen only by trusted reviewers, and is deleted when a decision is made, or after seven days if no decision is made. We keep the outcome of the review, not your full date of birth or ID number.

Gym search

The city or area you type to find gyms nearby, and the gyms you save. Gym search does not use your device’s GPS location.

Walk and run recording

If you start a GPS walk or run and grant location access, Fitness Pace records your precise location, route, time, and distance while the activity is active, including when your screen is locked. The recording stays on your phone until you choose to save it to your account. If you choose to open the interactive map, your device requests map tiles from OpenFreeMap. These requests do not send your saved route or Fitness Pace account details, but the areas requested over time can reveal your approximate movement. The map also loads its rendering software from unpkg.

Support

Messages you send us by email, and the details you include.

2. Information from your device and other services

3. Health Connect

On Android, you can let Fitness Pace read data from Health Connect. With your permission, Fitness Pace reads:

Fitness Pace imports these sessions into your activity history so you can see them next to your logged training and so PACE can take recent activity into account. Connected daily step totals are saved to your account. Fitness Pace does not write data to Health Connect.

Fitness Pace’s use of information received from Health Connect adheres to the Health Connect Permissions policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We don’t use Health Connect data for advertising, don’t sell it, and don’t share it with third parties except service providers that help us run the features you use. We don’t use it to make decisions about credit, insurance, or employment.

You can turn off Fitness Pace’s access at any time in Health Connect settings on your device. Sessions and daily steps already saved to your account remain until you delete your account.

7. Advertising

The free plan shows banner ads from Google AdMob. Fitness Pace requests non-personalized ads. AdMob may still collect device information, such as the advertising ID and IP address, to deliver ads, limit how often you see them, measure them, and prevent fraud, as described in Google’s advertising policies. Where required, the app shows Google’s consent form, and you can review your ad privacy choices in the app. Health and fitness data is never used for ads.

8. Security

No system is perfectly secure. If you think your account has been accessed without your permission, change your password and contact us.

9. Retention and deletion

After deletion we keep a few records that are no longer linked to you:

Encrypted backups kept by our hosting provider may still contain deleted data until those backups expire. Google keeps its own records of Google Play purchases under Google’s privacy policy. Support emails are kept for as long as needed to resolve your request.

See Delete your Fitness Pace account for step-by-step instructions.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.

11. Children and age limits

Fitness Pace accounts are for people aged 13 and older. Buddies is for adults 18 and over who pass an ID age review. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Where information is processed

Fitness Pace’s servers and database are hosted in Singapore. Service providers, including AI model providers, may process information in other countries, such as the United States. When information moves across borders, we rely on these providers’ contractual and security commitments.

13. This website

This website doesn’t use cookies, analytics, or tracking, and it doesn’t send the demos you try on it anywhere. The PACE chat on the home page is a scripted preview that runs only in your browser.

14. Changes to this policy

We’ll update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. If a change is significant, the app will ask you to review and accept it before you continue.
